DOL to hold town meetings for draft Brucellosis Action Plan

The Montana Department of Livestock has scheduled a series of meetings to discuss its draft brucellosis action plan, which is open for public comment through November 1.

Meetings will be held:
Oct. 21 in Joliet, 1-3 p.m. at the County Extension Office
Oct. 21 in Columbus 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the County Extension Office
Oct. 22 in Livingston 6:30 p.m. at the Livingston Public Library
Oct. 23 in Ennis 1-3 p.m. at the Ennis Public Library
Oct. 24 in Dillon 1-3 p.m. at the 4-H Building/Fairgrounds

The draft brucellosis action plan, along with a Frequently Asked Questions sheet, can be downloaded at MDOL Draft Brucellosis Action Plan.

Public comments can be submitted via email to [email protected], or via postal mail to Department of Livestock, Draft Brucellosis Plan Comments, PO BOX 202001, Helena MT 59620-2001. All comments must be received by the close of business on November 1.
