USDA FSA Stakeholder Webinars

On Monday, Nov. 17, U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins announced the enrollment period for Stage 2 of the Supplemental Disaster Relief Program (SDRP) as well as the application period for the Milk Loss Program (MLP) and On-Farm Stored Commodity Loss Program (OFSCLP).

The USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) is hosting three stakeholder webinars this week for each of the applicable production agriculture sectors. Each webinar will contain information specific to the respective stakeholder audience so please only register for the webinar that is applicable to your organization’s members and constituents.

Once you complete the registration form, you will receive an email with a link to join the live session. During the webinars, FSA will cover program details and frequently asked questions.

Risk Management Agency (RMA) Webinars

The Risk Management Agency will host separate webinars for Approved Insurance Providers (AIPs) and Crop Insurance Agents. AIPs and Agents should make plans to attend the applicable webinar below in lieu of the FSA Stakeholder webinars. RMA will provide more information including registration instructions.  

Program Information

  • SDRP Stage 2 – covers eligible crop, tree, bush and vine losses that were not covered under Stage One program provisions, including non-indemnified (shallow loss), uncovered (uninsured) and quality losses. Losses must be due to qualifying natural disaster events in 2023 and/or 2024.
  • MLP – provides up to $1.65 million in payments to eligible dairy operations for milk that was dumped or removed without compensation from the commercial milk market because of a qualifying natural disaster event in 2023 and/or 2024.
  • OFSCLP – producers who suffered losses of eligible harvested commodities while stored in on-farm structures in 2023 and/or 2024 due to a qualifying natural disaster event may be eligible for assistance through the On-Farm Stored Commodity Loss Program, which provides for up to $5 million to impacted producers.
