The Montana Stockgrowers Foundation (MSF) is pleased to announce the award of $2,000 in grant funding to support agricultural education and promotion programs across Montana. For this round of funding, grants were awarded to Sweet Grass County Animal Science Center and Resource Education and Agriculture Leadership (REAL) Montana.
Sweet Grass County Animal Science Center was awarded $1,000 to support construction of the facility. Once complete, the center will serve as a hub for youth education in Sweet Grass County and surrounding areas, hosting events in a state-of-the-art space while providing hands-on learning opportunities for Sweet Grass County FFA students.
MSF will also be awarding a $1,000 scholarship to assist with program tuition to a qualifying Montana Stockgrowers Association (MSGA) member accepted in Class VII of the REAL Montana Program. REAL Montana is a two year program offering in-depth education and training in the agriculture and natural resource industries.
MSF grants funds quarterly to organizations, programs, and events throughout Montana that are strengthening the future of Montana’s cattle industry, helping Montana ranchers, and building bridges between the agriculture industry and our communities.
Grant applications are accepted anytime throughout the year and are reviewed quarterly. To learn more about MSF’s grant funding, visit www.mtbeeffoundation.org.
