BILLINGS, Mont. (August 20, 2025) – The Montana Stockgrowers Foundation (MSF) hosted its 15th Annual TBone Classic Gala Dinner and Golf Tournament in Billings, Mont., at the Briarwood Golf Club, August 13 – 14. With over 200 attendees and 35 teams, the event raised over $40,000 to benefit Montana’s ranching industry through education, leadership, and conservation programs.
The TBone Classic kicked off on Wednesday evening with the fundraiser gala dinner, where guests enjoyed a steak dinner, with beef provided by Little Belt Cattle Co, along with a calcutta and live auction. Before dinner, guests were invited to take a chance at the “Saddle Shot” game. The winner of the longest drive hit off the saddle was Chance Wilson. Auction items included half a beef donated by the Montana Stockgrowers Foundation, 27 tons of hay donated by Producer Partnership, and a Bobcat football package donated by Holden Herefords.
Thursday morning, teams enjoyed steak burritos, warmed up on the driving range and then set out for a round of golf. The results from the tournament are as follows:
- First Place Team: Performix Nutrition – Taylor Bryson, Travis Edmundson, Will Kayser, and Phil Pimley
- Purchased by Will Kayser of Performix Nutrition
- Second Place Team: Waterloo Land and Cattle – Jeff Bakken, Garrett Harshbarger, Nolan Konen, and Woody Puckett
- Purchased by Western Ag Network
- Third Place Team: Little Horn State Bank – Scott Degnan, Kaine Kittelman, John Mitchel, and Ty Yost
- Purchased by Ty Thompson
- Tenth Place Team: Lyam’s Warriors – Gary Adams, Darrin Boss, Jyll McDonald, and Ty McDonald
- Purchased by Ty McDonald and Darrin Boss
