HELENA, Mont. (August 21, 2024) – The Montana Stockgrowers Association (MSGA), in partnership with Massey Ferguson, is excited to announce their first round of Blue and Gold Massey Tractor Raffle contributions made to four local Montana FFA chapters—Baker FFA, Deer Lodge FFA, Hinsdale FFA, and Malta FFA. Total donations for the first round totaled $700.
“We are delighted to send our first round of payments to local FFA chapters as part of the Blue and Gold Massey Tractor Raffle,” shared Raylee Honeycutt, MSGA Executive Vice President.”With these funds, chapters will continue to develop the next generation of agriculturists and we want encourage other local chapters to follow along and enroll in the program so they can share in the benefits.”
FFA chapters can still enroll in the program through October 1, 2024. Participating Montana FFA chapters receive fifty percent of the proceeds from the tickets they sell and fifty percent of the proceeds from tickets sold by MSGA and Massey dealerships. On each raffle ticket, there is a line for each ticket purchaser to designate which FFA chapter they would like a portion of their ticket sale to be donated to. FFA chapters can sign up for the program at www.mtbeef.org/massey.
MSGA and Massey Ferguson launched the Blue and Gold Massey Tractor Raffle in February to provide an opportunity for FFA chapters around the state to use the partnership as a fundraising tool for their chapters to help raise funds for travel, state convention, chapter activities, or national convention.
Raffle tickets can be purchased from participating Montana FFA chapters, Montana Massey Ferguson dealerships, through a MSGA board member, or by contacting the MSGA office at (406) 442-3420. Tickets are one for $20 or six tickets for $100.
The raffle ticket prize is use of a Massey Ferguson MF7S.155 tractor and loader for 200 hours or four months. The raffle will be held during MSGA’s Annual Convention and Trade Show on December 6, 2024. For more information on the program, visit www.mtbeef.org/massey.
