HELENA, Mont. (March 22, 2022) – Today, Montana Stockgrowers Association (MSGA) hosted a Beef BBQ at Montana’s Capitol to celebrate National Ag Day. The event hosted legislative guests, agricultural organizations and media to discuss the benefits of the Montana livestock industry.
MSGA President, Jim Steinbeisser, welcomed the crowd and thanked Montana livestock producers for the work they do to provide a safe food source, protect the landscape and provide habitat for wildlife. Lieutenant Governor Kristen Juras shared her support of Montana agriculture producers as the backbone of Montana’s rural communities.
In the afternoon, MSGA leadership joined Governor Greg Gianforte, Lieutenant Governor Juras, and other agricultural organizations for a roundtable discussion on issues and challenges the industry is currently facing.
