The Montana Stockgrowers Association (MSGA) opened its 141st Annual Convention & Trade Show today, bringing ranchers, industry leaders, and partners together in Billings for a week of policy discussions, education and industry collaboration.
Day one featured meetings of the Montana Stockgrowers Foundation (MSF), the Montana Public Lands Council (MPLC), and the Montana Association of State Grazing Districts (MASGD).
During the Land Use and Environment Committee, members engaged in robust policy discussion, voted on key resolutions, and heard updates from state and federal agency partners, including the Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Fish, Wildlife and Parks, and the Department of Natural Resources and Conservation.
Attendees closed out the day at the Kick Off Social, sponsored by CKP Insurance, where members reconnected with fellow producers and industry professionals ahead of a full week of events.
There’s still time to be part of this year’s Convention & Trade Show. Onsite registration will be available December 11–12 at the DoubleTree and Northern Hotels. To learn more, visit www.mtbeef.org.
