HELENA, Mont. (October 25, 2023) – The Montana Stockgrowers Association (MSGA) invites cattle producers and industry professionals to the 139th Annual Convention & Trade Show slated for December 6 – 8, in Billings, Montana. The Annual Convention & Trade Show’s agenda is packed full of educational sessions, networking events, and an opportunity for MSGA members to set policy that will shape the landscape of cattle ranching in Montana.
“The 2023 Annual Convention and Trade Show is looking to be one of the best years yet. We have planned a convention that we believe the Montana cattle industry will find educational, informative, and extremely valuable to attend. Our industry is facing more regulatory overreach and economic burdens than ever before. If you care about the future of this industry and want to find solutions to address the challenges cattle producers face, I encourage you to join us in Billings.”
said John Grande, MSGA President.
This year, MSGA has partnered with Certified Angus Beef (CAB) to provide CAB branded beef at all convention meals as the ‘Official Beef Provider’ of MSGA’s Annual Convention and Trade Show. CAB will also provide a Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) training and lunch to all attendees for no additional cost. The training will be hosted on December 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the DoubleTree Hotel.
Attendees will hear keynote addresses from industry leaders, a weather outlook from Brian Bledsoe, Meteorologist; policy updates from Collin Woodall, NCBA CEO; and conversations around rancher profitability. The event’s trade show will include over 70 booths filled with industry resources. MSGA’s Stockgrowers Colleges will provide attendees the opportunity to learn more on carbon credits, estate planning, risk management, value added programs, and disease response.
Early bird registration is now open and can be found online at www.mtbeef.org. The early bird discounted rate will be available through November 24th.
Onsite registration will be available for attendees Wednesday, December 6 through Friday, December 8, 2023, at the DoubleTree and Northern Hotels. For more information on MSGA’s Annual Convention & Trade Show, visit www.mtbeef.org.
