As a recognized leader in building coalitions, driving innovation, advocating on behalf of her members, and crafting engaging strategies that drives results in the natural resources, livestock, and agricultural industries, Raylee Honeycutt focuses on building strong organizations on a local, state and national level, as well as providing a strong presence on issues at the Montana Legislature. She leads organizations through strategic planning, benchmarking, engaging membership, and fostering strategic partnerships.
As Executive Vice President, Raylee focuses her efforts to ensure Montana cattle ranching remains relevant, safe, and a sustainable way of life for generations to come. This is done by creating a favorable business climate for her members. Legislative areas of focus include agency oversight, environmental regulation, taxation, water policy, private property rights, and the protection of multiple-use on public lands. She understands the importance of strategic collaborations and serves on the Montana Agriculture Coalition, Senior Water Rights Coalition, DNRC’s Comprehensive Water Review Task Force, Treasure State Resources Association, FWP’s Hunter Ethics Working Group, and a variety of Public Lands Council national committees.
Raylee originally hails from Fort Shaw, Montana, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education with an emphasis in Public Relations from Montana State University. She is also a graduate of the Indiana Ag Leadership Program and was appointed in 2022 as a Montana Ambassador. Outside of work, Raylee enjoys traveling and recreating with her husband and their two daughters.
