HELENA, Mont. (April 15, 2024) — The Montana Association of State Grazing Districts (MASGD) invites grazing districts and their members to attend the 2024 MASGD Annual Meeting slated for May 29th, 2024, in Miles City, Mont., at the Custer County Event Center. The meeting will begin at 11:00 a.m. following the joint board meeting of MASGD and the Montana Public Lands Council.
The meeting will bring together industry leaders to participate in the event. Attendees will hear from officials from the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the Rangeland Resources Committee. There will also be an issue update from MASGD executive staff and an informational guest speaker. The Montana Association of State Grazing Districts (MASGD) consists of twenty-six grazing districts spanning across the eastern side of Montana and includes rancher and farmer members who raise livestock. These cooperative grazing areas include federal grazing lands mingled with state, county and private lands-encompassing more than 10 million acres and allows for the greatest use of range forage, while conserving limited natural resources.
