HELENA, Mont. (February 23, 2024) – The Montana Stockgrowers Association (MSGA) is excited to announce its refreshed partnership with Massey Ferguson for 2024. Each year MSGA and Massey Ferguson partner and raffle a four month tractor lease. For 2024, MSGA and Massey Ferguson have launched the Blue and Gold Massey Tractor Raffle, an opportunity for FFA chapters around the state to use the partnership as a fundraising tool for their chapters to help raise funds from travel, state convention, chapter activities, or national convention.
“We are thrilled to launch the Blue and Gold Massey Tractor Raffle to support Montana’s youth through local FFA chapters. FFA develops the next generation of agriculturalists and our organizations could not think of a better way to support our industry’s next generation than to make it a little easier for chapters to provide programing, learning experiences, and access to events for students,” said Raylee Honeycutt, MSGA Executive Vice President. “We are also so appreciative of our long-standing partnership with Massey Ferguson and their dedication to Montana’s livestock industry and Montana’s youth.”
“Working with the Montana Stockgrowers Association for over 10 years has been an excellent partnership for Massey Ferguson and now is even better being able to support local FFA chapters,” said Scott Hutt, Massey Ferguson Account Manager.
FFA chapters can enroll in the program through October 1, 2024. Participating Montana FFA chapters will receive fifty percent of the proceeds from the tickets they sell and fifty percent of the proceeds from tickets sold by MSGA and Massey dealerships. On each raffle ticket, there is a line for each ticket purchaser to designate which FFA chapter they would like a portion of their ticket sale to be donated to. FFA chapters can sign up for the program at www.mtbeef.org/massey.
Tickets are one for $20 or six tickets for $100. The raffle ticket prize is use of a Massey Ferguson MF7S.155 tractor and loader for 200 hours or four months. The raffle will be held during MSGA’s Annual Convention & Trade Show on December 6, 2024.
Raffle tickets can be purchased from participating Montana FFA chapters, through a MSGA board member, or by contacting the MSGA office at (406) 442-3420. For more information on the program, visit www.mtbeef.org/massey.
